One Tree Central Otago
Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is one of the oldest grape varieties but also one of the hardest to grow. The wine is fairly light in colour and contains juicy, decadent fruit flavours reminiscent of sweet red berries, plums and cherries.

Central Otago has developed a reputation for producing some of the world’s best Pinot Noirs, rivalling its original Burgundy roots. International wine commentator Jancis Robinson has gone as far as describing the region as where “many believe the Pinot grail is to be found”. The combination of a cool climate, aged soil and superior winemaking creates an elegant, world-class wine with great ageing potential.

One Tree Pinot Noir has fragrant aromas of bright strawberries, plums, florals and wild herbs. This is combined with strawberry, cherry-fruit characters, floral notes and a hint of dried herbs. The wine is lush and full of fruit with a soft texture.

Drink within 5 years of vintage.
